My Memories with the Batman T.V series and Movies...

I have always been a fan of Batman. I haven't read its comics, but since I was a kid Batman has been my favorite superhero of all time...

I remember I was merely 6 or 7, maybe younger when I saw its T.V series. I don't even remember on which channel it was on, or much about it, but there are a few things I remember: Batman and Robin in their tights—those looked awesome to me at the time, but sadly not now—and I remember the Joker, Commissioner Gordon, the Batmobile, just a few vague trademarks of the series....

A few years after that I saw a movie called "Batman and Robin" on T.V. It was 2 or 3 years old at that time, and I think I must have been about 8 years old. Initially, I loved it; watching a Batman movie was all I ever dreamed of(before I discovered the other Batman movies that were already there and were better than this by many folds). I think I liked it because Arnold Schwarzenegger was in it; back then there were only a few Hollywood actors I was able to recognize and he was on top of that list. I had seen him in "Terminator", "Twins", "Predator", "Total Recall", and in "True Lies" a few years later...

A year later, I saw "Batman: The Animated Series" and it blew my mind. It was the best thing I'd ever seen on Cartoon Network, better than even "Tom and Jerry", a more commonly-loved children's show back then. I loved it and I wish I had a DVR back then so I could still have it recorded for posterity. Through this series, I came to know about Batman and his enemies. I didn't have any respect for any Batman movie at the time, maybe because none of them were made for my generation, or maybe because I liked the animated series on Cartoon Network better...hey, I was a kid, so I liked cartoons...

Then I grew up and I wasn't expected to watch cartoons anymore, so sadly, I had to let them go. It was hard... For a long time, there was no news from Batman...There was nothing...

When I was 13, I heard that a Batman movie is coming to theaters, and honestly, I came to know about this movie just a month before its release. My parents had stopped taking me to Hollywood movies by this time, so I was only able to see when by chance an acquaintance invited me to see it with him and his friend.

A few hours later, the three of us, accompanied by two of my cousins, were in the theater with popcorn in our hands. So finally I was watching a Batman movie made for my generation. That day, I had no idea who the director Christopher Nolan was, or that a movie called "Memento" even existed. Like many other people, I loved it, and I feel bad for people who have no idea about Nolan's Batman series before "The Dark Knight". Everything about this movie was classic—from the Batcave to the Batmobile, the Tumbler (to this day, it is the only vehicle I dream about), and there was Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne alias Batman. I had no idea about this Mr. Bale, and to this day, I haven't seen a single Christian Bale movie that pre-dates "Batman Begins"(the only exception being Empire of the sun which really doesn't count, as he must have been only 10 or 12 back then). Even now, he is one of my favorite actors, mostly because of the Batman series, "The Prestige" and "The Fighter"...

The movie touched a few things that I think were covered in the animated series(but I'm not sure; I was too young to remember anyway), this movie was nice and in the end they gave a hint that they will make another movie with the Joker in it, and like 90% of Batman fans, the Joker is my favorite character in the Batman series... I was happy my cousins and I all of us were excited and said we will come to watch the second part of the Movie but sadly there was no one to watch that movie with me...(Dark Knight is the first movie which I saw alone in a theater)...

In July of 2008 Dark knight came to theater for this one I was excited for months I had seen its trailer months before(It was the first trailer which I ever downloaded from the Internet) and I wasn't able to wait even for a single day... finally it was July and the Movie was released all across the country but not my town, and quite honestly I was pissed really pissed then finally after a month of no show at theaters it finally appeared in one.. so the next thing I remember my I was buying a ticket for the movie... after watching that movie I was angry... why? that theater sucked, for god's sake the Projection wasn't clear their sound system was crappy I can say my computer's sound system is better than the one in that theater.. later I saw that movie many times on T.V and on my computer(please don't ask me how :P)

Then came the news that Nolan is making another Batman Movie I was happy and sad that day cause it was also mentioned in that article that this one is going to be the last Batman movie by Nolan, I wasn't much happy about the news but after realizing that I will be able to see Batman again on the Big screen excited me...

It is releasing on 20th July of 2012, its been 7 years since I saw Batman Begins and about 14-15 years since I saw Batman's T.V series for the first time... Yes I am excited and emotional at the same time...

Nolan better brings his A-game cause I know we won't be able to see Batman for a long time on the Big screen unless Warner Brother finally achieves their dream of making a Justice League Movie.

The Amazing Spiderman: Amazing Indeed

As the title suggests, this movie is amazing. Many people will be saying that its just an minor improvement but its a little more than that...

Except for the part where a guy in spandex is flying in the city, it is quite realistic and honestly emotions in this movie looked really genuine and the characters are more real than ever.

The movie begins with a young Peter Paker playing hide and seek with his father, it was a sweet moment it was a nice way to show his relation with his dad, later in the movie it was mentioned that "he was secretive man" again and again but this sequence showed that he was close to his son.

The next awesome sequence was when Peter get his spidey powers and it is the best, expressions by Andrew Garfield were great, I wont take any thing away from you but you got to see this one by yourself... Emma stones did a nice job too, I wont say that she looked like a 17 year old one cause honestly I dont know how 17 year old ones look like in the west but acting wise spot on, she did a nice job.

The spidey suit in this movie is awesome, although before Parker comes by with the final suit he uses a mask and glasses which was super cool, I liked that one. There is a scene in which Peter is shown playing game on his phone to kill time in his spidey costume, that's the realistic part I am talking about an average teenager will do exactly the same thing to kill some time.

In this movie spidey's primary objective was to catch the guy who killed his Uncle but it changes when Gwen's dad talks to him and then he realizes that he can do more than just trying to find the guy with a star tattoo on his arm(watch the movie you will know what I am talking about) then he thinks about actually helping other people.

Action sequences in this movie are pretty good, visual effect made it even look better but the Lizard did not look good or realistic at all, its actually hard to imagine how a mutated Lizard will look like but anyway it didn't look realistic.

This movie is in 3D movie and its actually nice although they could have done a bit more but no problem there. I didn't went to see this movie because of 3D but for an awesome movie experience which I surely got, there are some movies in which you never realize how much time has went by and this movie is surely one of those.

This movie is funny at times also serious at time, they have used human emotions wisely. It is directed by the director who made "500 Days Of Summer" so he knows how to make a movie dramatic well, so no problems there.

To summarize it I liked this movie but I was hoping for a bit more and congrats to Marc Webb for a successful transition from Drama to Super Hero Action Movie genre...

Wrath of The Titans

Amazing movie, well it was fun watching this movie....

It had nothing for me in the beginning, a crappy start and the first action sequence just sucked.. it didn't work for me... then it became better and better.. but in many ways this movie is better than Clash of Titans, in the last one they tried so hard to make a story but they were not successful in doing even the 3D sucked, well they converted the movie just before the release so it was supposed to suck..

Lets talk about this movie for now... There are many improvements in this movie biggest one is the direction(all I know is they hired a better director), 3D was awesome and the biggest was Sam Worthington's acting all I can say is he did a nice job..

I never like to tell the story in my reviews so I am not going to do that here either... all I can tell you is some character in this movie are really awesome... all I will say is look out for the "NAVIGATOR"

they didn't tried to give any time for the characters to develop but there is a reason for that, they reserved the cast from the previous movie despite changing everything from Director to Story Writer

This movie is fun, there is just about a little comedy in it which is working, yes there is a fine cast in it but it is under utilized, the best part of this movie is the climax it is the most spectacular thing. Awesome visual, awesome concept watching Zeus and Hades fighting side by side(sorry this was a spoiler), I never though I would see that in a million years. They put up a nice show fighting Cronos. About Cromos I would say they he was under-utilized but his army was awesome.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

I didn't know that it was a reboot, I thought it's a prequel... honestly I don’t remember much of the Mark Wahlberg's Planet of the Apes anyway, 2001 version....lets begin with it...

The movie is good... the standard of movie has raised this year.. most scripts were good or had something to entertain people... there is one thing I like to mention this movie is intriguing!! at-least the first half was... I loved it...

The movie has an intelligent script.. no complications just eyes on the prize...they nicely laid the plot for a sequel too... towards the middle of the movie, you would hardly notice it, till the end of the movie... this movie doesn't bring any comedy to entertain people.. I know for sure this movie won't do good business but I am telling you its one of the best written movie I have ever seen..

Sure it doesn't has the graphics like a big action packed movie but I loved the apes, specially Caesar. He looked convincing to me, a perfect work of CGI. But I am telling you the motion capture thing is really improving with the course of Time.. another example of a nice job here.. I must compliment...

Now for the cast, James Franco he did a nice job in Spiderman series loved him 127 hrs God, he got nominated for that one... but here he did something special, he was really expressing feeling for an Ape. It was very much convincing and for Freida Pinto well i am no fan of her work and neither of her "beauty" well apart from that she did good.. I know she is just an attraction in the Movie... but I guess whatever must had been told to her she did good!!!

And John Lithgow, I love this old man!!! Trinity in Dexter and Barney's Father in How I met Your Mother, well he is Francho's Father in the movie and his role was necessary and he played to his full potential.

Another thing they nicely used Tom Felton's bad boy image... he was pretty good with whatever was given to him it was not much but he did justice to it...all the characters were impressive!! I must say...

To summaries this movie was worked good not much to point out... I recommend this movie to all whether you are a fan of the old one or not.. seen it or not... this movie is different, in fact, forget the old one !!!

COWBOYS and ALIENS

Honestly I went to this movie with much bigger hopes than I had for Iron man. I knew Jon Favreau can handle scifi adventures, he is the man for the job certainly Iron man proved that!!!

Well this movie begins in the middle of nowhere, the basic theme of the movie is mystery, over which they had a pretty good command, you can never say they let go of that thing off their hand. Craig had no memory of who he is, he is branded as a criminal butt he is not sure if he is or not, I enjoyed that aspect.

Another thing which I found impressive in this movie is its dialogues they were pretty witty and funny on some level. They tried to give a feel of the old American Wild West and still getting hold of today's modern people, it could have been better.

I must compliment the people who looked for the cast, it has a great cast. Not that they did their part with their potential. I can say Craig and Sam Rockwell were the only people who looked good in the movie and for some reasons, which I can not understand they were trying to hide Ford, if you have an actor with that much experience and talent give him some screen time not just hide him from everyone!!

This movie is billed as a "Action Scifi" which is not entirely correct, all they had were 3 sequences which were good but not that of action.

To summaries  there are some nice sequences in it but I am telling you again don't watch this movie for the cast cause you will only end up being disappointed.

Harry Potter:Deathly Hollows Part 2

The movie is made good actually one of the best there ever been in the series.. just remember one thing i am gonna compare it with Harry Potter series only nothing else...

This movie starts with a "recap" of the last one... nicely shown, i was really thinking to watch Deathly hollows Part 1 before watching this one but I didn't got the time and it didn't even matter!!

One thing i liked about this one that there is no bull shit in this one... there is constantly something happening... which really gives you no time to think... which worked great for it!!

This movie is not much about entertainment well sometimes I felt they were just trying to get over with it... sure it does have some "L-M-A-O" moments which would spread all around the theater!! they were good!!
The 3d effects in this one are really worked good.. some sequence were really amazing..i saw the movie both in 2d and 3d so i can really tell you that one!!

There is one more thing which on which i like to add is that "Do not compare it with the book saying that they didnt show this and they didn't show that..." We just have to understand that J.K Rowling took about 700pages to tell you that story and that just cant be done even within 3hours of a movie!! so its better not to compare both the things!!

All characters are defined in the previous parts and there isn't any new significant character except for Dumbledore's brother..well I won't say full justice is done with his character but when we are already on short of time so we can bare that!!.. for who haven't read the Book you will get to know more about Snape and that part is shown pretty beautifully in the movie ... i loved the sequence!!

Well honestly i thought that i shouldn't have wrote about this one... well i am a Harry Potter fan.. so I thought that i wouldn't do full justice to this one...

If i have to say where this one lands in my favorite harry potter spot i must say there below Philosopher's Stone and Prisoner of Azkaban those are my top two and they will remain that way!! i know that for sure now..

Transformers: Dark of the Moon

Well this movie is way better than the last one, the last one was pretty boring for me. In this one Bay decided to destroy Chicago please remind what he did in the last one, Ohh yes he destroyed the Pyramids, it was a dumb movie. Shia Labeouf screaming Optimus every 10 minutes.

Rosie Huntington is a model and that's all I will say there is not nothing much to say(I just found out she is/was in relationship with Jason Statham)!!

This movie is a series of explosions, if by chance you liked the second one you are going to get crazy after this one, I m not talking about the first one everyone loved it!!

One thing i didn't liked in this one, this movie lacks Megatron, he is the main villain of the series and he is missing from this movie. I would have loved if he was kicking some ass in this one too, instead he is recovering from injuries he sustained in the last one.

Many thing remains same in this Michael Bay Movie that is "Amazing Graphics and Explosions", some how he just cant make a movie without those two but its transformers and what else we can expect from him.
